Located in the heart of the small Alsatian village of Wingen-sur-Moder, the former family home of avant-garde artist René Lalique, master jeweler of Art Nouveau and master glassmaker of Art Deco, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020. Transformed into a sumptuous 5-star hotel in 2015, the Villa René Lalique retains the authenticity of a family home enhanced by the splendor of a luxury boutique hotel, whose decoration was entrusted to two interior designers, Lady Tina Green and Pietro Mingarelli, creators of the Lalique Maison collection of furniture, decorative accessories and linens
While each of the 6 suites is unique, they all feature Lalique crystal decorative objects, as well as nods to René Lalique. As for gastronomy, the double-starred restaurant, one of the best in France, is the work of Austrian Chef Paul Stradner, who proudly succeeds his mentor, Chef Jean-Georges Klein.
