Nestled in the maze of Saint-Martin de Ré’s alleyways, Villa Clarisse welcomes guests to a former 18th-century mansion, renovated in 2011 by Olivia Le Calvez, who has owned the Hôtel de Toiras since 2002. The decor, by architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, retains the charm and authenticity for which the island is renowned.
Inside, 9 elegantly decorated rooms and suites await guests, as well as a heated swimming pool, a spa with two treatment rooms, and a rest and exercise room. For dining, guests are invited to join the Hotel de Toiras, just a few minutes’ walk away, to enjoy the chic George’s terrace.
